How to find a hiphop teacher for I.C.C.

Conditions:

- Budget. What is the budget we got? What does he ask? Is there a way to combine the two? And how do we plan his lessons depending on the budget (1time/week, 2times/week)?

- Background choreographer. References. What has he done?

- Dancing education? First aid degree?
Because having a save environment for the dancers is always a first priority!
There is a big difference between a good dancer and a good teacher. We need to find a balance between the two.

- Quality of teaching. Seeing a dance session with that choreographer. Tape it on video.

- His availability in 2008.

- Agreed to follow the year plan? Or does he rather wants to do his own thing? Doing his own thing can be good but the result has to be the same as with the year plan!

6 phases to find our hiphop teacher:

Phase 1 :
Looking for multiple addresses of coaches, teachers, choreographers.
How: internet (google), youtube (video’s), calling around, asking our own dancers and other dancers, go to dance schools, ...
From: 17th until 23rd of March.

Phase 2
Making appointments.
Make sure that the appointment follows on a hiphop lesson that he gives.
Between 23th of March and the 2nd of April.

Phase 3
The appointment:
Asking questions about the conditions we made (see on top of page). Make sure we got it all on paper. See a dance sessions and tape it on video.

Phase 4:
Compare the results. Pro’s and contra’s...

Phase 5:
Deciding who we take as Ipelegengs hiphop teacher for The Lil Hypno’s.

Phase 6:
Contact the chosen teacher and make further arrangements with him.
